For iPhone and Mac
Your Apple Health data, anywhere you need it. Never in the cloud.
Healthcove reads Apple Health on your iPhone and puts it where you want it: a CSV on your Mac, sensors in Home Assistant, a Markdown summary for your AI assistant, or a PDF for your doctor. No accounts. No analytics. Pay once.
Free to browse and export. Pro is a 7-day free trial, then a one-time purchase. Requires iOS 17 or macOS 14 and later.

What it does
Three jobs, one app

Into Home Assistant and your smart home
Push heart rate, sleep, HRV, workouts and 178 other types to Home Assistant, an MQTT broker or any REST endpoint, on a schedule or as new data lands. The Home Assistant target sends units, device classes and state classes; the MQTT target can register its sensors through discovery.

Onto your Mac
Move your entire Health history to the Mac app with an encrypted, device-to-device transfer over your own Wi-Fi. Browse it, chart it, export it and import old exports, even when the iPhone is somewhere else.

Into your AI assistant, on your terms
Copy a compact Markdown summary into any chat, or let an assistant you already run query your data through a local MCP server. Healthcove itself contains no AI and never contacts one.

Export everything
182 data types, seven formats, your choice of range
- CSV
- JSON
- Markdown
- GPX
- TCX
- FIT
- HTML & PDF reports
Activity, heart, vitals, body measurements, nutrition, sleep, workouts, mindfulness, medications and more. Pick the types and the date range, then share the file anywhere. GPX, TCX and FIT keep your heart rate alongside the route, so workouts import cleanly into Strava, Garmin Connect and HealthFit.
Import works the other way too: bring an Apple Health export or an earlier Healthcove file into the app on iPhone or Mac.
Private by design
Nothing leaves your devices unless you send it
- No accounts, no analytics, no crash reporters, no cloud. The App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected.
- Device-to-device sync runs directly between your iPhone and Mac over your Wi-Fi, encrypted with TLS and certificate pinning. It never touches a server, not even ours.
- Automations send only to the endpoints you configure. Exports go only where you share them.
- Healthcove writes to Apple Health in exactly one case: when you import a file and ask it to. Everything else is read-only.

Quick answers
Already using the Home Assistant app's Apple Health sensors?
Keep them. Since August 2026 the official Home Assistant iOS app can expose about 29 everyday metrics as sensors, and they're free. Healthcove is for what they don't cover: the other 150-odd types, history rather than the current value, and targets other than Home Assistant. The Home Assistant guide has a side-by-side table.
Is it a subscription?
No. Pro starts with a 7-day free trial and then is a single one-time purchase. Everything else is free.
Does it work on Mac?
Yes, as a native macOS app. Apple Health itself lives on the iPhone, so the Mac shows what you've synced or imported, and can chart, export, report and serve it to an AI assistant. The Mac guide walks through pairing.
Does any of my health data reach you?
Never. There's no account to create and no server to send it to. See the privacy policy.
